Ajay Pratap Singh, a BIT Mesra alumnus from the 2008 batch, is leading the charge towards sustainable logistics in India. As the CEO of Switch Labs, he is building the country’s first electric heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) logistics company. Driven by the motto “Switch to Save,” Switch Labs aims to integrate heavy-duty electric trucks into the existing supply chains of hard-to-abate industries. This innovative approach helps these industries significantly reduce their Scope 3 emissions, which are indirect emissions occurring throughout the value chain, without incurring additional financial burdens.

With a valuation of approx. Rs. 50 crores, Switch Labs is poised to make a significant impact on the Indian transportation sector. By promoting the adoption of electric trucks, the company is contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable future for the environment.
